How We Selected Our Advisory Board Members
We selected our advisory board members based on their backgrounds and specialties. They’re doctors, registered dietitian nutritionists, certified personal trainers, and CEOs and founders of their own companies. They have extensive backgrounds in the food, health, and wellness spaces, and they’re people we recognize as being experts in their chosen professions. We trust their expertise and their knowledge, and feel confident in including the information they provide us in our stories. For these reasons, we’ve added them to our Eat This, Not That! advisory board.

Meet Our Advisory Board Members
Nora Tobin is the Health & Wellness Partner to Marriott International Luxury Brands and Spokesperson to JW Marriott Hotels and Resorts. She has created programs, products, retreats, media campaigns, and VIP experiences across the brands. Nora is an executive coach to Fortune 500 Companies, a public speaker, an on-air personality, and an editorial contributor to premium publications. She is a performance enhancement and nutrition specialist, as well as an advanced scuba, cliff, and helicopter rescuer.
Dr. Jennifer Ashton, MD, is the Chief Medical Correspondent for ABC News and Good Morning America. She is double-board-certified in OBGYN and Obesity Medicine, and holds a master’s degree from Columbia University in Nutrition, making her the only OBGYN of note to have both highly lauded credentials.
In addition, she maintains a medical practice in NJ, Hygeia Gynecology, which she founded in 2008. Ashton is the author of Eat This, Not That! When You’re Expecting, Your Body Beautiful, and The Body Scoop for Girls.
Jillian Michaels is the world’s leading health and fitness expert, renowned nutritionist, and wellness entrepreneur. With an international community of followers exceeding 100 million, Jillian’s dominance in health and wellness extends to her award-winning My Fitness by Jillian Michaels app (which was awarded best of 2017 honors from both Apple and Google), successful fitness DVDs, a popular exercise streaming platform, a hit television series, 8 New York Times bestselling books, live speaking engagements, popular social media channels, and a list of key business partnerships and investments. Jeff Csatari is responsible for editing Galvanized Media books and magazines and for advising journalism students through the Zinczenko New Media Center at Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA. A veteran magazine editor, he has been the launch editor of three magazines, including Best Life, which Galvanized now produces in digital form. He was on the staff of Men’s Health magazine for 17 years in various capacities, including editorial director of Rodale International magazines and executive editor of books. He has written for Men’s Journal, Women’s Health, Prevention, The Huffington Post, The New York Times, Women’s Day, Success, Reader’s Digest, Dr. Oz’s The Good Life, Popular Science, Boys’ Life, and AARP magazine.
Jeff is the author of more than 10 non-fiction books, including the New York Times bestseller The Belly Off! Diet and The 14-Day No Sugar Diet, and he co-authored The Abs Diet Cookbook (with David Zinczenko), The Spartan Way (with Joe De Sena), and Norman Rockwell’s Boy Scouts of America (with his father, artist Joseph Csatari).
Claudia Sidioti is the Head Chef and Recipe Developer at global meal kit leader HelloFresh. At the helm of the test kitchen, Claudia leads a team of seasoned recipe developers to create simple and delicious meals that hundreds of thousands of home cooks across the country can make in 30 minutes or less every night. Prior to joining HelloFresh, Claudia helped launch Food Network Magazine and served as test kitchen director for 8 years, contributing more than 3,000 recipes. She was the youngest female chef and restaurant owner in New York City, getting her start at 19 at Onini Restaurant.
Jim White is a nationally recognized registered dietitian nutritionist, American College of Sports Medicine Exercise Physiologist, and owner of three Jim White Fitness and Nutrition Studios, three medical nutrition therapy practices, and a workplace wellness corporation.
He has been quoted in thousands of publications and featured in hundreds of television and radio segments nationwide, including ABC Family Channel, Today, TLC, Radio Disney, GQ, Men’s Health, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, and much more. He has experience conducting seminars, interviews, and appearances all around the country. Jim is a past spokesman for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. He is currently working with companies to help improve their food and lifestyle brands. Current and past clients include National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, Welch’s, National Dairy Council, California Almonds, Oikos, USA Potatoes, Nestle, and California Walnuts.
Recently, Jim has received the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition Community Leadership Award. Other honors include receiving the 2012 Healthcare Hero Award, the 2013 Entrepreneur Excellence Award, the 2014 Young Entrepreneur Award, and the 2017 Youngstown State University Alumni Award. White was voted as one of the Top 40 Businessmen Under 40 in the Hampton Roads region and recognized as Virginia’s Young Dietitian of the Year.
In his free time, White enjoys giving back through his very own nonprofit, the LIFT Fitness Foundation, which focuses on creating a foundation of wellness to empower individuals in need.
Maya Feller, MS, RD, CDN, of Maya Feller Nutrition, is a registered dietitian nutritionist who works with patients who need weight management and those looking for nutritional management of diet-related chronic illnesses with medical nutrition therapy. She is a regular contributor on Good Morning America and has appeared on The Dr. Oz Show.
Amy Shapiro, MS, RD, CDN, is the founder and director of Real Nutrition, a NYC-based private practice dedicated to healthfully and successfully guiding clients to their optimal nutrition, weight, and overall wellness. She is recognized for her individualized, lifestyle-focused approach, which integrates realistic food plans, smart eating habits, whole foods, and active living. Through encouragement, education, and the right “tricks of the trade,” Amy believes that anyone can achieve their nutritional goals while still enjoying the foods and flavors they crave. With over a decade of experience, Amy is a valued authority in nutrition and healthy living, and frequently contributes to the media community as both a writer and resource. She is a regular nutrition expert for media outlets, including Vogue, MindBodyGreen, Health Magazine, Women’s Health, Refinery29, CBS News, NBC Better, Today.com, NY Magazine, NY Post, CNN, Well+Good, and Bon Appetit.
Dr. Taz Bhatia
Dr. Taz Bhatia, MD, is a board-certified integrative medicine physician and wellness expert, who gained national recognition as a best-selling author of the books, What Doctors Eat, The 21 Day Belly Fix, and Super Woman RX. Her integration of Eastern medical wisdom with modern science, along with her unique Power Type discovery, has led to featured segments on The Today Show, Dr. Oz, Live with Kelly & Ryan, and eventually the premiere of her own PBS special, Super Woman RX with Dr. Taz. Tammy and Lyssie live in New York City, where they enjoy running and biking to keep fit, as well as chasing after Tammy’s twin daughters and their French bulldog, Millie.
Dr. Tzvi Doron
Dr. Tzvi Doron, DO, is the Clinical Director at Ro, the healthcare technology company behind men’s health brand, Roman, and addiction fighting brand, Zero. Prior to Ro, Dr. Doron dedicated himself to getting a satellite clinic of a local community health center in Florida off the ground. He was hired as the sole physician when the clinic first opened, and his work helped the clinic grow into a fully functional medical office that serves the community’s most underserved population.
Dr. Doron also enjoys giving back to the medical community by tutoring medical school students in his spare time. His expertise has been featured in various publications including VICE, Greatist, Bustle, and Reader’s Digest.
Isabel holds a Registered Dietitian License, a Bachelors of Health and Exercise Science from Gettysburg College, and a Masters of Science in Nutrition Communications. Isabel was trained in all areas of clinical nutrition at New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City and has worked with patients at other highly esteemed academic medical centers, including the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Hospital for Special Surgery. Throughout her training, Isabel also trained under some of the best integrative and functional medicine dietitians and clinicians and uses her integrative and functional wellness training together with her clinical background when working with clients and groups.
In her private practice, Isabel works with clients in the areas of oncology, weight loss, hormone balance, thyroid health, digestive health (celiac, IBS/IBD, allergies, and sensitivities), weight loss and intuitive eating, athletic performance, blood sugar control and diabetes, and more. Isabel also works with corporations and corporate executives to promote healthy eating and mindfulness/stress management. In addition to working with individual and corporate clients, Isabel writes for various digital publications and collaborates on various social media projects as well.
Her expert opinion is often featured in nationally recognized publications, and her expert opinion is sought after by many. In her spare time, Isabel can be found making new recipes, trying various new exercise classes, practicing yoga, and running in Central Park with her Yorkshire Terriers, Sasha and Henry.
As seen on Good Day NY, Fox 5 News, and MSNBC, Lisa Moskovitz is a Weight Management, Disease Prevent, & Sports Nutrition Specialist, as well as the CEO and founder of The NY Nutrition Group. With an extensive background in clinical nutrition and behavioral counseling, she has successfully worked with thousands of New Yorkers to achieve and maintain their ultimate health and weight goals. Lisa has a special talent and dedication to helping all her clients reach their “happy” weights, transform into unstoppable athletes, reduce medication dependence, and overcome barriers such as emotional or disordered eating.
Lisa graduated with honors from Syracuse University, where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Clinical Nutrition. She honed her counseling and clinical skills through a 12-month intensive Dietetic Internship at New-York Presbyterian Hospital. She is an active member of the American Dietetic Association (Weight Management, Behavioral Health, Diabetes Care and Education and Sports Nutrition practice groups), the Greater New York Dietetic Association, the the Academy for Eating Disorders, the National Lipid Association, the American Diabetes Association, and the Collegiate & Professionals Sports Dietitian Association.
